1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using TheForgeJA ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
2. Services Provided
TheForgeJA provides:
- Web development services for small businesses
- Live online coding classes (Python, Django, Cybersecurity)
- Access to class recordings, resources, and homework submissions (for active students)
3. Account Registration
To access student features, you must register an account. All registrations are subject to admin approval. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
4. Payments
Course fees are $10,000 JMD per month. Payments are handled off-site via WhatsApp or email communication. Your account will be activated upon receipt of payment confirmation by the admin.
If payment is not confirmed by the 7th of each month, your account will be automatically deactivated until payment is received.
5. Referral Program
Students receive a unique referral code. When two referred students register and make payment, the referring student receives a 50% discount ($5,000 JMD) on their next monthly payment.
6. Homework Submissions
Homework must be submitted as .zip files (max 1MB) containing only Python, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or text files. Alternatively, students may provide GitHub links for larger projects. Submitted files are stored securely and are only accessible by the student and admin.
7. Q&A Board
All registered students (active and inactive) may participate in the Q&A board. Content must be respectful and relevant to the course topics. Admin reserves the right to remove inappropriate content.
8. Intellectual Property
8.1 Educational Content: Class recordings, resources, and code shared during learning sessions remain the property of TheForgeJA. Students may not redistribute this content without permission.
8.2 Code Reuse Rights: For all custom development projects (including websites and trading bots), TheForgeJA reserves the right to reuse any underlying code, logic, modules, or algorithms in future projects for other clients. This right is retained even if the original client owns the specific final implementation or program.
10. Ethical Use of Cybersecurity Training
10.1 Strictly Educational: All cybersecurity concepts, tools, and methodologies taught by TheForgeJA are strictly for educational and defensive purposes. Students must only apply these skills on systems they own or have explicit, documented permission to test.
10.2 Zero Liability: TheForgeJA, its instructors, and its affiliates bear zero legal liability for any illegal, malicious, or unauthorized activities conducted by students. Any misuse of the information provided will result in immediate expulsion from the program and full cooperation with law enforcement.
11. Termination
Admin reserves the right to terminate or suspend any account at any time for violations of these terms, unethical hacking practices, or other reasons deemed necessary.
